Our stay in June 2011
Hello Pat and Lynn,
We were lucky enough to find Paradise Valley Campground during our trip in June 2011. There we found nature, peace, relaxation and harmony, all in one place. We will never forget those beautiful moments. Hiking up the trail to Brohm Lake was when I got to take a really amazing picture that really reflects Beautiful British Columbia'. We were only planning on staying for one night. But thank god we decided to stay for another, instead of heading back to Vancouver. If you are looking for pure relaxation, Paradise Valley Campground is where you'll find it. We will definitely stop by again on our next BC trip.

Unser Aufenthalt im Juni 2011
Hallo Pat, hallo Lynn,
Wir hatten im Juni 2011 das Glück Euren Campground zu finden. Hier ist Natur, Ruhe, Entspannung und Harmonie alles an einem Platz vereint. Diese schönen Erinnerungen daran werden wir beide wohl nie vergessen. Beim Wandern konnte ich für mich dort das eindrucksvollste Bild von „Beautiful British Columbia“ (Trail zum Brohm-Lake) fotografieren.
Eigentlich wollten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben.
Gott sei Dank haben wir uns das nochmals anders überlegt, und blieben noch eine 2te Nacht bei Euch, anstelle in Richtung Vancouver zurückzufahren.
Nur wer wirklich Ausspannen möchte, findet hier die beste Gelegenheit dazu.
Bei unserem nächsten Urlaub in BC ist der Stopp auf diesem Campground fest eingeplant.

Paradise Valley ist ein so herzlicher und freundlicher Campingplatz. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Die vielen farbigen Steine, und die hausgemachte Seife sind nur ein bruchteil von so vielen kleinen Details :-) Grosses Lob für die Toiletten und Duschen. Die sind sehr ordentlich und sauber.
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit!

Hallo
Wir sind jetzt schon seit einer Woche wieder zu Hause in Deutschland, doch in Gedanken immer noch bei Euch. Es war eindeutig ein Paradies und es war toll.
Wir haben vom 14. August 2009 bis 15. August 2009 bei Euch campiert – unter dem Namen Grunewald... Ihr wisst schon, BRENNHOLZ ; )
Paradise Valley war mit Abstand der beste Campingplatz, den wir auf unserer Reise besucht haben. Die ganze Atmosphäre war einfach SUPER! Die Idee mit dem Steine bemalen fanden wir toll. Einige der Steine wurden vor über einem Jahr datiert. Das müssen auch schӧne Erinnerungen für Euch sein. Wir haben die vielen schӧnen Waldwege, die man über den ganzen Campingplatz verteilt findet, sehr genossen. Und am Tag unserer Abreise haben wir noch diesen kleinen Berg bestiegen.
Als wir bei Euch eintrudelten habt Ihr uns gesagt, dass nur noch ein kleiner Platz verfügbar wäre. Aber wir kӧnnen Euch versichern, dass es mehr als genug Platz war. Und vielen Dank, dass Ihr uns erlaubt habt ein Feuer zu machen. Andererseits wären wir wohl verhungert ; )
Und: Noch nie zuvor haben wir auf einem Campingplatz solch saubere und einladende Duschen vorgefunden. Wirklich.
Ich glaube der Grund für all das ist ganz simple. Es ist ganz eindeutig, dass Ihr beiden mit ganzem herzblut dabei seit und wirklich liebt, was Ihr Tag für Tag tut. Eure Laune und Aufrichtigkeit reflektiert sich auf die ganze Atmosphäre und alles rund herum.
Es war wirklich wunder, wunderschӧn. Doch jetzt sitze ich wieder in Deutschland am Brӧtchen verdienen, während ich mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt bei Euch freuen darf.
Eure Freundlichkeit habe ich schon nach einem kurzen 3-4 Minuten-gespräch gespürt.
Leider habe ich die Fotos von meinem Kumpel noch nicht erhalten. Diese schicke ich Euch zu, sobald ich sie habe.
Ich wünsche Euch ein wunderschӧnes Wochenende.
This was the most lovely campground
This was the most lovely campground we have been to on our tour from Toronto to Vancouver. Although we stayed for only one night, ice cream and service was wonderful and relaxing.

Best Campground
Thank you for providing the good times we enjoyed at Paradise Valley Campground this past summer.
As regular campers, we recognize and appreciate the hard work, dedication and professionalism that were offered to campers on a daily basis. At a low price, we benefited from nice homely clean washrooms, really nice hot and strong showers, bike rentals, firewood, snacks, etc. However, the broad smiles and friendly positive attitudes were free.
We look forward to camping at Paradise Valley Campground next year and for many years to come.
Our friends and co-campers are also in agreement with the excellent services that were imparted and will also be joining us in camping at Paradise Valley Campground next year.

We want to say, that your campground is such a heartfull and lovely place, that we enjoyed our staying so much at your c.site. The colorful stones, and the handmade soap are only some lovely details. And the beautiful clean bathroom, sooo nice! We loved it there a lot!! Thanks for visiting and sleeping at your campground!

Camping Par Excellence
As we approach the day of our camping, we realized that it was going to be a rainy day in the whole of Vancouver including Squamish. We called Pat and she was very accommodating to have us move one day later. It turned out that the next 3 days we booked ourselves prior to our children going to school will be sunny and clear. Our kids ages 9, 8, 6 and 3 had a blast, enjoyed the rock painting, the trail hikes and the fire pit. The campground is conducive to family camping. We are amazed at how the place has been kept clean, orderly and a great emphasis to preserving nature. The kind-hearted owners of Paradise Valley Campground will always be a blessing to us and to all campers. We will surely spend another time camping at this wonderful and serene place.
What a blast!
My friends and I are very happy that finally we found a Campground that we could go back over and over again. We just had a blast.

Paradise Valley campground really is a camping paradise. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the grounds and washrooms are kept immaculate, the owners are friendly and welcoming. Our one concern was the trains, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that they were never an issue, even at night.

Well, what can we say. After our amazing RV road trip starting from
Vancouver, over to Vancouver Island, then Whistler, onto Jasper, through the Icefields Parkway to Banff, then home to London from Calgary, your campsite was 'THE BEST!' on whole trip....and we stayed in many. What a delight to stay in such tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Our pitch made us 'oooh and ahh', and felt like we had our own little piece of forest! The calm that came
over our three children as they relaxed and painted their works of art on the stones was amazing. The showers made us feel like we were in some remote mountain top spa! Amazing memories - what a beautiful place you live in.

Thanks for a great time at Paradise Valley Campground
I returned to Germany a week ago, but still have you on my mind. I can confirm that "I was in Paradise, and YES, I liked it", even though my friend, Grunewald, and I stayed at your campground for only one night (14.08.09).
Just wanted to say that your campground was the best of the ones we stayed at. The whole atmosphere was ... GREAT! And how you arranged everything! I liked the idea of the painted rocks that all your visitors painted. I saw some that were painted over a year ago or so. This creates memories for your guests. The trails around the campround are really nice. We climbed Thompson Trail the morning we left. I have never seen such clean and inviting showers as you have on your campground - No Joking!
Looking at the whole campground, gave me the feeling that you love what you do, and that reflects on the atmosphere that I experienced at your place.

We are so happy that we found Paradise Valley Campground. Pat & Lynn (the Owners) are the most obliging couple to be around. Nothing is a problem for them. They made us feel very welcome. They are so knowledgeable about the area. If you need a hiking or biking trail they will tell you where to go. The owners work very hard to keep the campground peaceful and environmentally friendly. It is beautifully clean. The showers and toilets are amazing, sparkly! The sites are large and private, which is usually very difficult to find with private campgrounds. The grounds are litter free and the sites immaculate. What a pleasure it is to have stayed in such a well run environment. We would recommend this campground without hesitation to anyone. If you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the valleys and mountains of Squamish and the added bonus that Whistler being only a 30 minute drive north and Vancouver 45 minutes south, and you would like to meet two wonderful people, then this is definitely place to be. Paradise Valley was one of the best RV sites that we stayed at on our Canadian tour. The site is extremely well run, tidy and equipped. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. It is well worth the short drive from Squamish, which itself is worth a visit, as is the Squamish Spit, if you are into kite and wind surfing. Squamish also has a small, but interesting (if you like railways!) museum. An extra bonus at Paradise Valley is the nearby railway line where the occasional Whistler Mountaineer passes through!
If you are travelling along Highway 99 in an RV (or of course camping) then do try and stay at Paradise Valley! It’s setting is beautiful and very comfortable.

The problem with writing a review like this is that when you find a gem like this you want to keep it to yourself so that when you go and book your site you will get it. However, that would be selfish. If you are looking for a peaceful get away then this is the place.
The sites are very large and private. My biggest beef about camping is that you never know who your neighbours are and how noisy they will be when it is time to settle down. Not here. The peace and quiet was just wonderful. It was like being in the backwoods. Lynn and Pat do an amazing job of keeping the camp site very clean. The washrooms and showers are kept clean.
For us it was a great base camp for activities in Squamish and Whistler. It was then wonderful to come back to our RV and enjoy the wonderful peaceful surroundings.
